This Book focuses on Platelets Storage Sciences under Hibernated and metabolic suppressed conditions. Dr Badlou in this book unravel 1) how shelf life of platelets could be prolonged, 2)how in fact apoptotic processes could be prevented 3) how isolated human platelets could be preserved for more than 18 days under blood banks' compatible conditions. Recent publications of Dr Badlou revealed that his approaches are working for both fresh and old platelets isolated in ex-vivo and/or in the blood banks. Dr Badlou introduced different novel systems, where also other isolated human blood cells, organs could be isolated and stored under the same condition, pre-transfusion and/or pre-transplantation.
