This in vitro plant culture technique is widely used in numerous practical applications in biotechnology for crop improvement. The impetus for writing this book was to make available an up-to-date text, covering all the theoretical and practical aspects of plant tissue culture for the undergraduate students and researchers of plant sciences and biotechnology. The book explains the basics of tissue culture and the techniques involved in in vitro culturing of plant tissues under controlled environmental conditions.
