Plant Antioxidant on Goat Reproduction

Artificial insemination is a technique in genetic improvement in the livestock industries. Various factors such as scrotal circumference, testicular biometrics, endocrinological profiles, antioxidant and oxidative stress profiles and serum biochemical profiles play important role in determination of libido, semen quality profiles and fertility rate in mammalian species. Plants contain different chemical compounds including antioxidants that protect the reproductive parameters including structures of reproductive tract and semen quality profiles. Dietary supplementation of plants which contain herbal antioxidants protected the reproductive tract, reproductive parameters and semen quality profiles in caprine species.
