Phytonematodes of pomegranate agrocenoses

The monograph presents the results of study (fauna, ecology, systematics, distribution, control measures) of phytonematodes of pomegranate agrocenoses of Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan. Information is given about 98 species of phytonematodes belonging to 44 genera, 32 subfamilies, 28 families, 19 superfamilies, 11 suborders, 7 orders and three subclasses. For each species, data on morphometric indices, distribution of root soil and root system of pomegranate plants are given. The integrated (organizational-preventive, agrotechnical, physical and chemical) measures against the parasitic phytonematodes of pomegranate agrocenoses are presented. The book is intended for phytohelminthologists, agronomists, agricultural workers, agricultural plant protection service, phytopathologists, students of agricultural and biology departments.
