Physiotherapy and chronic diseases

The book "Physiotherapy and chronic diseases" explores a problem, on which currently is being lead a serious debate in Bulgaria. Where is the place of Physiotherapy ¿ in sport or in medicine. This is a question, which can receive the most correct answer, only if we start from the needs of the chronically ill patients, who are in need of an extended complexed rehabilitative care. One non-temporal and well conducted ongoing Rehabilitation, using the contemporary achievements of the physiotherapeutic studies and practice, would lead to a prevention of the early disability, would cooperate for the contemporary return of the disabled person to the labor market and eventually would reduce the financial expense of the health and social systems. The book would be helpful as much for the development of the profession as education, competences and practical work, as for the development of the understanding of Public health in Bulgaria.
