Physiological & Pharmacological effects of Crataegus sp. in Albino Rat

Over the past decade people are very interested in using complementary therapies for many reasons (Herbal Medicine), therefore herbal medicine research will play a critical role in global health. With this expansion in the field of developing science and biotechnology has also come a rise in research about alternative medicine and herbal therapy. For all above reasons I selected Hawthorn which is the most usable plant for the treatment of most of cardiovascular diseases. This book provides a special method to establish scientific basis and justify of the C. aronia in folk medicine, also the in vitro effects of the crude AE, MF, BF and CF of C. aronia on cardiac blood pressure parameters in rats using Langendorff heart preparation.
