The pond is located in the campus of the Gujarat university, just behind the Department of Botany. It is a natural pond. Many number of different aquatic plants were reported in this pond. Therefore studies for different physico-chemical parameter were carried out to check its water quality. The study was carried out for the complete year. After complete investigation the result of physical and chemical parameters were compared with WHO (1971) and BIS (1991) standard.
