Phonology: Different Dimensions

This book is an attempt to introduce recent basic issues in phonology. The authors have done their best to focus on the basic tenets of the topics they have tackled in order to put before the readers' hands a book that can be understood with no difficulties. It surveys the recent phonological theories and notions which have existed over various periods of time through which those theories have developed. Besides, an attempt has been done to arrange the topics tackled in a related sequence to indicate that the topics complement each other. However, most of the topics introduced are essentially theoretical apart from the one concerned with phonological adjustments which includes a practical example to reinforce the notions introduced in the chapter preceding it.
