Philosophy of Islamic Education

This book examines the Concept of Philosopy of education in Islam. Islam from its inception placed high emphasis on education as the only means to growth, development and advancement of a society. Education in Islam is therefore mandatory on every Muslim as the core need for the survival of man and his environment. The first revelation of the Qur¿an revealed to the prophet emphasised the significance of education not only of the learning of the Qur¿an but also sciences and all other fields of study especially sciences, social sciences, education and humanities. Ondo state is succinctly cited in the work.The results from the state is a sample survey of other states of the federation in the southwestrn Nigeria.
