Philosophy of Education

This book is designed to assist teachers and prospective teachers in their day to day activities. The Book is planned into six chapters whereas chapter one explains the concept of philosophy and philosophy of education, chapter two provides various schools of thoughts and its contributions in the field of education. Chapter three discusses the ideas of various philosophers and how their ideas influences education today. Chapter four includes issues related to inquiry learning. Chapter five provides the concept of logic, arguments and fallacies and how all these affect education, while the last chapter discusses the issues related to dialectics where by the four laws of dialectics are discussed with its implications in the field of education.
