PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Edward Diamond Nakpodia holds an N.C.E. in History/Economics at the then College of Education, Abraka in 1978. He also studied at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan where he obtained B.Ed. in History/Religious Studies with second class (Hons) Upper Division in 1983. He proceeded to the University of Benin, Benin City, where he obtained his Master's Degree (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration, under his itinerant lecturers; Prof. J.A. Aghenta, and Prof. Eric Arubayi, the present Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. His dream of academic attainment was later realized when the author bagged his doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration under his able lecturers; Prof. Eric Arubayi, Prof. Aigbmian, Prof. V.F. Peretomode and Dr. D. Onoyase at the Delta State University, Abraka in 1998. Dr. Nakpodia is presently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies, Faculty of Education, Delta State University, Abraka.
