PHILOSOPHY IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION

The book presents the proposal of dialogue as a guiding principle in the methodology of teaching philosophy in high school in the modality of Youth and Adult Education - EJA, having as main argument the ideas of the philosopher of language, Bakhtin. The practice of dialogue as methodology is suggestive to improve the reflective capacity of the student facing his existence and connect it with the philosophical experience acquired with the content of the classroom discussion. Besides Bakhtin, other trends that support the use of dialogue have been reviewed and compared. We approach here an analysis from everyday school life because it deals with issues such as alterity, collective interaction, teaching practices.
