This study is a review of pharmacokinetic aspect of drug in particular, absorption, distribution and metabolism. Absorption is movement of drug from the site of administration into blood . It means the drug molecules cross the cell membrane twice i.e. drug should have balance of hydrophobic and hydrophilic character. If the drug is polar then it is carried by carrier proteins through cell membrane. Properties of drug governing these aspect have been discussed in detail. There are studies are analysed to highlight how observed pharmacokinetic of lead compound derived the next step of drug designing.
