Pharmaceutical Sector in Yemen

This work concerns with the state of Yemen¿s current pharmacy sector and the future challenges that it may face. We shall first review Yemen as a country and take a glance over its health services and the critical health challenges overcoming the people of the country. We will also take a close look into the statistics of data with regard to the Yemenis health and their demographic backgrounds. The sections that follow will be filled with the more administrative issues- the policy, the medicinal trade and production, the regulation as well as the financing. The government¿s action will also be emphasised, where we will see how medicines are procured and distributed in the public sector, and subsequently how the public perceive these medicines; obviously, the extent of their knowledge and attitude will determine their rational use of the medicines
