This present work is a humble attempt to satisfy the need of Library & Information Science students and research scholars of Zoology. Bibliometrics is an important subject in the field of Library & Information science. Bibliometrics play an important role in library for developing their collections according to need of users. The present study is main aim to know information need of research scholars of Zoology. Which type of information they have wanted to have done their research? Librarians are like managers in industries and need; objective data to take timely decision librarian can use reference statics. Zoology is the branch of biology that includes the study of animals and animal life, including, but not limited to, the study of the structure, physiology and classification of animals. Zoology can be subdivided into two categories: Vertebrate zoology.
