Personality Traits and Susceptibility to Behavioral Biases

This book offers an empirical understanding of data analysis executed for behavioural biases & personality traits of investors in India. It covers extensive data analysis related to primary data collected from individual investors. The structured questionnaire is checked for the content validity before administering same for data collection. The portfolio managers & investment experts, who were advising their clients for mutual funds, stocks, insurance and commodities, have been chosen to check the content validity of the questionnaire. In order to examine the relationship between big five personality traits and behavioural biases of the investors, logistic regression has been employed. To identify relationship between demographic information and behavioural biases of investors Chi- Square test has applied. It presents charts that a portfolio manager may use to counsel clients.
