Performativity of an Urban Space

Architecture is the stimuli for body to move, it informs the body to 'be' and to 'move' in space. The urban space provides a stage for performances. The backdrop furnished with urban life, daily events and human drama provide a backdrop orchestrated movement. City spaces are looked at not just as a host to the performances, but as stimuli to movement of various rhythms creating dynamism in space and choreographing its inhabitants. The architectural exploration through this research work understands the vocabulary of urban space and its impact on human movement.
