Performance of Different Varieties To Various Phosphorus Levels

The book entitled ¿Performance of Different Varieties to Various Phosphorus Levels in green gram (Vigna radiata L.) was carried out in Kharif season during 2021-2022 at the crop research center of School of Agriculture, ITM University, Gwalior, M.P. The experiment was laid down in a Factorial randomized block design with twelve treatments viz., three varieties (MM4, PDM139. KMB18) and four levels of phosphorus (0, 20, 40, 60 kg ha-1). The growth attributes viz., plant height, number of leaves, Leaf area (cm2), Leaf area index, and Plant dry matter(g) at different growth stages viz., 20,40,60 and at harvest days after sowing were recorded and the treatment 60 kg P ha-1 showed highest among the levels of phosphorus and found at par with 40 kg P ha-1 in all stages.
