The rate at which natural sand (river sand) are used in the construction industry are very alarming, our rivers are dredged year in year out, there is need for an alternative. Our environment is not save when glass is disposed to form a landfill because it is not a biodegradable material. The glass industry recycle glass but must be sorted out by colors which is a long process. This book aim at reducing the rate at which natural river sand consumption can be reduced. And recycling glass where it cannot be sorted by colors and help eliminate the threat which glass place at our environment.
