Performance improvement of reactive routing protocols

The objective of this book is to improve the performance of the Reactive Routing Protocols in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET). Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing protocol is selected for implementation and analysis in this research. Three parameters are selected for analysis and for applying possible performance improvement strategies. These performance improvement strategies can be applied based on the requirement and the scenario in which MANET is being used. Using these strategies the performance of MANET can be further improved. The continuous improvement in MANET due to the various research findings can make it a suitable alternative for fixed infrastructure based networks in the near future.
