Performance Audit Procedure

This research was carried out in the Business Unit Base Muebles Imperio Guantánamo, with the objective of designing a Performance Audit procedure, which allows the evaluation of economy, quality and services. Chapter I deals with the conceptual environment of performance auditing, definitions of different authors, types of audits and their classification. Chapter II elaborated and applied a methodological proposal through inherent risk assessment and control procedures and a performance audit program, which include economy, efficiency and effectiveness indicators and allow measuring the management of production and services in the Imperio Guantánamo Furniture Base Business Unit. This allows reaching Conclusions and Recommendations that synthesize the research results, in addition to the Bibliographies consulted.
