Performance Analysis of Agents and Business of LICI

The present volume is a byproduct of Ph.D. thesis of the author. It¿s a complete research work on performance of agents and business of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) in the post liberalization period, 1995-2005. In the present study, quantitative research technique has been followed and presentation is in lucid language thrusting upon comprehensiveness of the subject matter. In the post liberalized Indian economy, the performance of agents of LICI has been judged on the basis of opinion of policyholders¿ visa-vis Development Officers and business on published annual data. It will help the young researchers who are conducting research work on insurance sector and induced them to further research.
