The book: 'Perceived Impact of Grid Electricity on Rural Development in Imo State, Nigeria' is developed from an original research work. Deriving from the topic, its main ideas are built around development issues and models, and approach- the ineffectiveness of this in developing countries. National electrification programmes via a central grid though massive in scale and cost, has not widely delivered electricity to the nooks and crannies of vast countries as observed in the study carried out in Nigeria, as underscored in this book.
