PAEK - APPLICATIONS IN PROSTHODONTICS

Polyaryletherketone (PAEK) is an emerging material in dentistry with wide applications in prosthodontics. Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and Polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) are the two most extensively explored members of PAEK family in this field. Properties of these materials like their modulus of elasticity, light weight, biocompatibility, white color, easy and versatile fabrication procedures, etc are working as the backbone for their success in the field.
