The main feature suggests that ozone can be used in dentistry as a durable anti-microbial agent. Ozone has antimicrobial biosynthesis-enhancing effects. Ozone moves cellular and humoral immunity. Ozone use in dentistry can be made possible via ozone gas, ozonated water, sunflower oil, or ozonized olive. Ozone is used in periodontology, oral pathologies, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry. As a result of these studies performed, ozone therapy in dentistry should be considered as an assistance to conventional treatments.
