Orthopaedic Drilling and Necrosis

This book is the outcome of the author's cognizance for orthopedics rehabilitation. During an incident for bone plate fixation on the author's close, he interacted with orthopedics' surgeons. As curiosity he started to study the terms, process and later on this became his area of interest. Though thermal necrosis might be absent in most surgeries, its elimination greatly depends on the surgeon's skill and experience. Even in some medical universities' for freshers special skill development sessions are conducted. The entire research work is completed in three phases A] The initial work involves study of bone construction, necessity of bone drilling, thermal necrosis and bone fixations.B] Later on in experimental investigationC] In theoretical investigation, optimization of drilling parameters is made, for this Taguchi method, Anova method and multiple regression analysis is adopted.D] In the last phase, an intelligent drilling machine is assembled.The author is very satisfied when appreciation regarding intelligent drilling machines is received from medical practitioners.
