Orientation of Church Buildings

It is a common opinion that churches are built depending on urban circumstances. This text indicates that in the construction of churches care was taken to be oriented towards the religious centers of the ruling kingdom. The churches were oriented first to the east and later to various religious political centers. This practice has been lost for the last two centuries.The method is based on the foundations of churches and therefore dates the oldest construction. The method can reveal a lot to the Christianity of the Slavic, Germanic and other peoples whose history is little known to us.
