It is well known that metals and their complexes are used in several biomedical and commercial applications. The present book will be exploring the biomedicinal studies of some new organometallic complexes of group-15 elements (As, Sb, Bi) which show water and lipid solubility. This book gives insight about the synthesis and characterization of these organometallic complexes as anti-microbial, anti-tumor and gastroprotective agent. The present book will give you an insight that the bio-medicinal screening of all the newly synthesized complexes for their antibacterial activity against three pathogenic bacterial strains viz. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aereus and Klebsiela pneumoniae, antifungal studies against two pathogenic strains, Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus nigar, anti-tumor activity against human breast adenocarcinom(MCF-7) and mammary cancer cell lines (EVSA-7), and gastroprotective activity studies against Sprague-Dawley rat¿s in-vivo in aspirin (ASP) and ethanol induced ulcer. The results of these screening clearly indicates that these compounds may find potential utilization in the treatment of infectious and acute diseases in times to come.
