Electricity could be said to be the heart of a Nation¿s economy, the bedrock upon which a country¿s infrastructural development is built. The problematic electricity situation in Nigeria has had adverse socio-economic impact on the Nation and its dwellers. Despite Nigeriäs large natural reserves, available resources and untapped market, numerous conglomerates and multinational companies have fled the shores of Nigeria to neighboring African countries due to the electricity menace and high cost for generating and running alternative energy.
