ORGAN DONATION

The Present Research work provides the descriptive analysis related to the knowledge and perceptions of people regarding Organ Donation. This investigation provides the insight into the various factors which play major role in varying levels of awareness regarding Organ Donation amongst people. Age, interest in social welfare activities, permissive behaviour, gender, religion played a significant role in varying perceptions about Organ Donation act.The study also revealed the barriers felt by the people in donating the organs. These barriers were related to the Laws, Medical Field, Family & Self.The present study gathered the suggestions from the people, related to enhancing the organ donars in the society. these suggestions were for the academic institutes, Medical Profession, Media and Government.
