Oral Neural Tumors

There are many places to stop along the way and get nourishment ¿ you just have to be willing to take it¿(Emily Hollenberg). Benign and malignant neural tumors can occur in oral and perioral region. The growth pattern and subsequent clinical behaviour of the neurogenous tumors differs in different sites and pose significant diagnostic and therapeutic problems. The peripheral nerve is the source of wide array of tumours, both non-neoplastic and neoplastic. During the last three decades, this area has undergone an extensive re-appraisal with re-evaluation of old entities, describing new ones and clarifying the relationship between benign and malignant tumors.
