Optimal Inventory Policies for Two Warehouses

This book presents some more realistic inventory models for deteriorating products under two warehouse management system with various conditions. It includes introduction to operations research, importance of inventory management, various costs and terms related to inventory. In this text, discussed the five inventory models such as two warehouses inventory model for deteriorating items and exponential demand rate; two shops inventory model for deteriorating item with both primary and secondary shops under a single management explain with five scenarios; two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with partial backordering and time as well as stock dependent demand; two warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items in which deterioration rate is taken as time dependent and exponential demand rate; supply chain inventory model for deteriorating items and inflation induced demand with two warehouses; and two warehouse inventory models for deteriorating items with linear demand rate. Moreover, this work will be of great importance to maintain a smooth connection between demand and supply for business industries.
