Open Book Examination for Promoting Higher Order Thinking

Development of a Nation depends upon the quality of human resource of the nation and quality of human resource depends upon the education of that nation. This work is an effort in the direction to enhance the quality of in-service and pre-service teachers. These teachers are the agent of change in prospective society as they have to educate the human resource of future of India. It shows how does the change in examination bring change in the higher order abilities of learners. This research work is an eye opener and great help to all the teacher training institutions and schools that aims to infuse higher order thinking in learners. This would be path finder to teachers, parents, curriculum developers, policy makers, students and parents. This would instrumental to apex and premier bodies of education such as GCERT, NCERT, NEUPA, UGC, MHRD, Various Universities, Schools and NCTE for decision making and forward planning.
