On the Almost Invisible Footsteps of NGOs is not a summons to the dock to put development organizations on trial. It is an invitation to introspection, a deep reflection on the way NGOs operate, the approaches and strategies used until now. It is a look of a man almost formatted by the NGOs on the rear view mirror and who asks himself questions about what we did, how did we do it? With whom did we do it? What results did we get? What place did culture have in our approaches? What is the place of the endogenous potentialities and resources of the communities? What lessons can we learn from this experience?
