Odontogenic Cysts

Cysts of the oral and maxillofacial region are encountered very commonly in medical practice. Odontogenic cysts are unique in terms of their origin from the odontogenic/teeth forming tissues. A lot of studies on the classification, origin, pathogenesis, and treatment aspects of cysts have been done in the past and are still going on but many aspects of odontogenic cysts are still controversial and their theories and treatment protocols keep on changing with the advancing knowledge and study. This book covers the classification, embroyology, pathogenesis, and operative procedures of all the odontogenic cysts in general and further discusses the individual cysts in detail.
