Occupational Noise Exposure in Thermal Power Plant : A Case Study

This book has presented the data on noise quality monitoring in and around a major thermal power plant. Occupational noise at the workplace environment has become important due to thier effects on human activities. The characterization of the occupational noise exposure by determining the speech interference level, loudness level, noisiness level, and perceived noise level and the noise rating level in the Thermal Power plant area may serve as a guideline for development of a noise reduction program and will help in protecting the workers from hearing loss problems.
