Environment preservation and protection belong to the greatest challenges the world has set for the next decade. The consequence is an increasing number of environmental protection organizations, environmental standards, legislative regulations and limitations forcing companies into production that impacts the environment as little as possible. Environment contains both toxic and non-toxic atoms, ions and molecules. Industries are the major sources of toxic ions and its entry to biological systems disturb the biochemical pathways, in some cases leads to death of the organism. Occupational health is concerned with the two-way relationship between work and health. Health differs from safety in terms of the probability for the event to occur and the time for the effect to appear.
