Nutritional situation of internally displaced children

Given the socio-political situation and the inter-community crisis in the country, central Mali has become a place of refuge for all these displaced populations.In statistics, the displacement monitoring matrix counts the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Mopti at 250,998 in April 2020, of whom children represent 58%.Far from their homes and their current occupations, what happens to these men, women and especially children from a nutritional point of view?How do they manage to feed themselves?Are they assisted by the state, by non-governmental organizations, even if they do take into account the specific nutritional needs of children?In case of illness, how are these children taken care of and by whom so as not to fall into the picture of malnutrition?Is malnutrition not the cause of their illness?These are some of the questions raised and are elements of reflection and analysis in this book.
