The experiment comprised of thirteen treatments replicated thrice in randomized block design, involving FYM levels (@ 5, 10 t/ha and 100 kg N through FYM analysis), graded doses of NPK fertilizer (@ 80:20:40, 100:30:60 and 140:40:80 kg/ha) and the combinations of FYM levels along with graded doses of NPK. From the results it can be concluded that, application of FYM @ 10 t/ha + chemical fertilizer @ 140:40:80 kg NPK/ha was found more beneficial way of nutrient management to maintain soil fertility status, improvement in nutrient content and uptake of nutrients ultimately enhanced the herbage yield, oil content, oil recovery as well as oil yield and quality of Java citronella oil.
