Nursing Procedures

Nursing procedures aims to providing a comprehensive knowledge about the nursing skills done in medical, surgical and critical care units. The theoretical part of this book includes the objectives and purposes of the procedures, required equipments, actions and rationales for all the nursing skills. The book is supported by photographic and tabular materials which clarify the procedures. The study of this book should contribute to the transfer of knowledge related to nursing procedures from preclinical preparation to clinical practice while focusing on the skills required for the nursing staffs. The introduction addresses the general and specific objectives of the procedure with the conditions for achieving these. Also, the goal of the nursing skills is to provide an opportunity for nurses to become competent with nursing skills and thereby becoming a safe practitioner while working towards excellence in nursing.
