Nosocomial infection and infection control programs in Yemen

Several global and regional studies had been performed in incidence or prevalence rate of Nosocomial infections, infection control programs approved guide , antimicrobial resistant and percentages and patterns were conducted by several organisation such as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health organisation and other organisation system. However ,in Yemen Lack data for all above subjects in addition to, no governmental policies or planes for Nosocomial infections and infection control programs applied in different health care settings by ministry of public health and population. This book thesis in selected hospitals were focusing on all type of Nosocomial infections occurrences and follow up of inpatients from admitted day till discharges in several critical hospital departments, determined of general risk factors and sources for infection, incidence and morbidity and cured rates,. antibiotics use, antibiotics resistance among isolated pathogens agents especially in hospital setting. Finally , also focusing on the method of prevention of all type of nosocomial infections in different location and antimicrobial resistant pugs in Yemen.
