Non-Carious Lesions and Its Management

Non-carious lesions are becoming an increasingly important factor considering the long-term health of the dentition. Non-carious lesions don¿t have any unique etiological factor, rather it is a multifactorial condition affecting tooth sensitivity, plaque retention, caries incidence, structural integrity, pulp vitality and they also present unique challenges for successful restoration of teeth. This textbook enlightens the need for successful diagnosis of teeth thorough patient¿s history, careful observation, identification of problem followed by removal of its etiological factor and restoration. Sincere attempt was made to include numerous figures and tables for better understanding of the subject. More emphasis was given in the management of these non-carious lesions.
