NGO Management and Peace Impact

In a world where the number of peace NGOs are increasing, while the nature of conflict is constantly changing it is essential to evaluate how NGOs can make a contribution towards a more peaceful world. The way organizations are managed is central to their ability to impact change and carry out their mission statements. This work explores NGO management in depth by examining the structures and governance of organizations across the spectrum of civil society at the example of two very different organizations. As such, this book also serves as a guidebook on how to establish and run an NGO successfully in an intricate global network of civil society actors and international civil servants.
