Next Generation Wireless Systems 2009 - Proceedings

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference on Next Generation Wireless Systems (NGWS''09) in Melbourne, Australia. This conference provides an excellent venue to present the latest research results, innovative ideas, and experience reports on current and next generation wireless communication technologies and systems. The technical program is made up of contributed technical papers which cover a wide range of wireless topics including Next Generation Wireless Systems, Vehicular Communications, and Multi-hop Networks. The primary objective of this conference is to provide academic and industry professionals a unique opportunity to discuss recent progress in the areas of wireless communications, systems, theory, applications, and to identify new directions for future research and development in the wireless area. The call for papers attracted a large number of submissions from Asia, North America, Europe, Australia and Middle East. After a double-blind peer review process, the technical program committee finally accepted 30 papers for oral presentation at the conference.
