Nepalese International Trade Before and After WTO

Majority of trade is occurring through WTO. Total members reached to 164 and 20 are at observer status. In this scenario, the main question is whether all WTO members are getting benefit from multilateral trading system? It is because several studies showed that there is significant effect of WTO in world market. Nepal became member of WTO in 2004. After surpassing ten years in the WTO few crucial questions are very important - whether Nepal's international trade regime is performing in expected track or not. Similarly, being an LLDC, whether Nepal's membership of WTO really imparting significant effect? Besides these, factors affecting international trade has been assessed. It will be a case example for LDCs and land locked countries in connection to the WTO and international trade. It could be reference for those states who are interested to be a member.
