Neem Extract: As Biomolluscicide Against Pomocea Canaliculata

The study was conducted to determine the effects of neem extract against golden apple snail (GAS) (Pomacea canaliculata); identify the most effective concentration against GAS snail and to identify the time of effectiveness of neem crude extract (NCE) against GAS. Experiment was laid out Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) and replicated three times. The differences among treatment means were compared using Tukey¿s Honest Significance Difference at 1% level of significance. The treatments were as follows: T1 ¿ untreated (water), T2 ¿ chemical check + 16 L of water , T3 - 15.75L of water + 250 ml of Neem Extract, T4 - 15.50L of water + 500 ml of Neem Extract , T5 - 15.25L of water + 750 ml of Neem Extract , T6 - 15L of water + 1000 ml of Neem Extract.
