Nechirvan Barzani. A Visionary Leader

This book deals with the main characteristics, values, principles and the effective leadership of Nechirvan Barzani. It records over two decades the characteristics of his political legacy and his vision and priorities for the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. The thoughts and reflections of many credible people who have known or worked closely with him in the government and in the Presidency were solicited. These have contributed to building a portrait of a man who has come through the most challenging of times to emerge with values and determination to lead, face, manage and ultimately resolve issues and challenges locally, nationally and internationally. Formal and documented public speeches and interviews relating to different facets of his vision have been examined and the views of specialists, experts, and activists in each aspect are presented. The result shows us a man with a vision to build a progressive, modern and tolerant society, leading to the peaceful coexistence of all its citizens regardless of their race, religion or creed.
