Multimedia Technology for Sanskrit Heritage Texts

Developing multimedia e-learning system for Sanskrit Heritage Texts (SHT) is beneficial to understand and access Indian Heritage Texts in an interactive way. The book is focused on MM technology for SHT. It makes possible to present SHT with interactive media and make study smarter. In this context ¿rimadbhagavadg¿t¿, the most popular text of AIH, is created as e-book with multimedia technology. The text has richness in knowledge, gives message of purity in action which helps to resolve problems of day to day life. The text SBG refers for study in well-known areas such as business, administration, psychology, management and others for betterment and dealing with problems. The book provides a detailed knowledge about tradition of AIH texts and MM based dynamic web application cum-indexer for SHT which provides e-book and multidimensional search options for user. For this a computational analysis of SBG has done. System can be tested online at http://sanskrit.jnu.ac.in/sbg/index.jsp. Furthermore system provides very useful grammatical information by the linguistic point of view which is helpful for NLP or Computational Analysis of text and Machine Translation.
