Multidisciplinary Design Education in Collaborative Design

[The Impact of Multidisciplinary Design Education on the Creative Process and Climate in Collaborative Design] This study aimed to examine the effects multidisciplinary design education has on design creativity by observing the processes through which various groups accomplish design tasks, and analyzing the produced results. We sought to examine the difference between the creativity of the output produced by a team of design and non-design major students who had received multidisciplinary design education and a team with similar design and non-design major students who had only received traditional design education. We also sought to examine their design processes and climate.
