Multidimensional Education in 21st Century

Education is a good tool to change the society. Education in general and quality education in particular has a prominent role in the process of development. It is possible to preserve culture and heritage and inculcate values through education for better life of human beings. Education has multi-dimensional roles. Education is power. Through Education it is possible to solve all types of problems in the society viz., poverty, illiteracy, alcoholism, drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, environmental pollution, ill-health, malnutrition, corruption and terrorism. According to Swami Vivekanandä ¿Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there undigested, all your life.¿ Education for him means that process by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and intellect is sharpened, as a result of which one can stand on one¿s own feet. We want such type of education for all.
